My Approach

Hey. You made it here. That’s something.

Let’s start with some honesty — I used to think therapy was bullshit. How could just talking about your feelings (with a stranger, no less) actually help? It all sounded too soft, too “out there,” too much for “crazy” people.

Then in 2018, I nearly died. Ten hours from death, doctors ready to amputate my arm — the result of years spent avoiding pain, ignoring responsibility, and numbing out in every way I could. I was scared. I was lost. I was broken, spiritually, emotionally and physically. After a month in the hospital and a year of rehab, something shifted. I was cracked open. I started doing the real work — and now, I help others do theirs.

I’m not the sit-on-the-couch-and-nod kind of therapist. Sure, sometimes we talk. But other times we move — boxing, breathwork, walking, yoga, whatever. Whatever helps you get out of your head and back into your body. Because insight without action? That’s just staring at a map and never taking the trip.

If you’re stuck — anxious, shut down, spiraling, disconnected — you’re not broken. You’re human. And you’re not alone. If you’re wondering how you got here, or why life feels so far from what you imagined, we’ll explore it. Together, we’ll start building something real. Something grounded. Something that actually feels like you.

I work with teens, couples, families, trauma survivors, creatives, athletes, and high-achieving folks who are burned out but can’t stop pushing. I draw from modalities like CBT, DBT, IFS, polyvagal theory, and somatic work — but none of it matters without trust. That’s the foundation. Everything else is built on top.

This work isn’t easy. But it’s worth it. Together, we’ll polish the mirror and take a long, honest look. And we’ll find compassion, clarity, and direction for the person staring back.

Let’s get to it.
